Since April 2nd, the local organising committee cannot anymore offer you rooms in the pre-booked hotels. It had to return the unused contingency. New participants have to take contact with the hotels directly. However, new participants have to fill in the registration form too
Registration
The conference will be held on the EPFL site, which is located out of town. A metro connects Lausanne and the EPFL. We will prepare metro tickets, order coffee breaks and lunches for you. You are then kindly requested to indicate in the form which day you need metro tikets and lunches.
The price of one single way metro ticket is approximatively 2.00CHF
The price of one lunch is approximatively 10.00CHF
You will be asked to pay in cash to our secretary and you'll receive vouchers (metro tickets will be given at the hotel receptions)
If you need a visa to enter Switzerland, we can provide an invitation letter. You can either indicate it in the registration form or let us know by E-mail (itpa07&epfl.ch with @ instead of &). For more information, please consult:Swiss Federal Office for migration
Accommodation
Rooms are pre-booked in three hotels. CLOSED SINCE APRIL 2nd. Firtst two are located in the Lausanne centre pedestrian area, the last one being close to it. The hotel web sites are given for further information, but registrations should NOT be done through THEIR web sites

Banquet - Tuesday, May 8th 2007

We would like to offer you a special experience of the wonderful "wineland" and landscapes that we have nearby. This is why we propose to add a little extra to our usual group banquet. We have found a wonderful old house where winemakers were working already back in the 16th century. We shall taste different wines while dominating the Lake of Geneva in the middle of wineyards. There will also be a multimedia exhibition explaining quite well how there can be more than 10 different wines within 10 miles. Afterwards we shall eat in the "Knight's room".
The price for transport and the whole evening will be about Frs 60.- (40 Euros)
We need to know in advance the number of participants (in order to ensure a "swiss quality" organization), so please mark your choice when filling in your registration.

Excursion - Sunday, May 6th 2007

We also propose an excursion on Sunday to relax before an efficient workshop !
We will meet in the Lausanne railway station in the morning (not too early). We will take the train to Vevey and then the cable car up to the 'Mont Pélerin'. In less than an hour we willl walk in a beautiful forest, up to the top of the hill, where a TV tower offers a nice view on the Lake of Geneva and the mountains. A pic-nic with different regional products will be served. In slightly more than an hour we will reach (still by foot) the railway station of Puidoux to take the train back to Lausanne.
Hiking shoes and outdoor clothes would be more comfortable
A car will be available for people afraid of (or having difficulties in) walking in the wilderness
In case of bad wheather, an alternative excursion will be proposed
The price for the excursion will be about 45CHF, all included
